Frequently asked questions
- Who do I pay?
- You pay the hotel directly. FluxStays never takes your payment and never asks for your card.
- Who is my booking with?
- FluxStays never renders a payment field and never sees your card. When you continue to a hotel from a FluxStays page, you leave FluxStays and book directly with that hotel, on its own site, its own booking engine, or by phone or WhatsApp. FluxStays is not a party to that booking. The contract for your stay is between you and the hotel alone.
- Is the price I see final?
- Prices and availability come from hotels and public sources. Confirm them with the hotel before you pay.
- Does FluxStays charge a commission?
- No. FluxStays takes 0% commission on bookings, from travellers and from hotels. Hotels list for free.
- I own a property listed here. How do I correct, claim or remove it?
- A listing is not an endorsement. Owners can claim, correct or remove a listing; takedown requests are answered within 24 hours.
- How is a claim verified?
- Claiming a listing does not transfer ownership instantly. A claim is verified by a phone call to the number published on the property's own Google listing, with a six-digit code read back, or by email on the property's own domain as a fallback. Submitting a claim you are not authorized to make, or impersonating an owner or operator, is a violation of these terms and may be reported.
- Who can write a review?
- A review can only be submitted with a single-use token issued against a completed, attributed stay, and that token expires after 30 days. Every submitted review — positive or negative — enters the same publishing queue; FluxStays does not suppress or gate reviews by rating.
- Can AI assistants use FluxStays?
- AI agents and automated assistants are welcome to use the published feeds and the /mcp endpoint under the same rate limits published there — this is a deliberate part of how FluxStays is built, not an exception granted case by case.
